Mine arrived fine and looks good, the strings hadnt been tuned up but I dont think they normally are at this price, it wasnt a bother because I play flute and know how to use the pitch-pipes that come with it. If you're not used to tuning a guitar I'd say you should get an electronic tuner too. The colour is actually a bit sparkley which is nice, you cant see it that well from the picture. It has a nice colour box too.
